Los Angeles has the highest incarceration rate of any city in the world. How do women of color navigate life after prison or jail in a city that is so deeply shaped by imprisonment?
In this 9 minute talk, I discuss how Black women respond to the challenges of reentry and use their experiences to organize for criminal justice reform and abolition.
